Aurasma: Create Augmented Reality Projects

Presentation Site
This workshop will demonstrate how to create student projects using the augmented reality app Aurasma. Using Aurasma, students can create Auras that share experiences by unlocking a link to a website, play video, or a 3D animation simulation. The presentation will showcase a published class project created by 3rd grade students at Cottonwood Elementary using Aurasma and iPads. Get the Aurasma app made for iOS and Android devices at either the App Store or Google Play.

I am a Technology Integration Specialist for the Southeast Education Service Center serving Carbon and Emery school districts. I have worked in education for 16 years, 12 years as an instructor at the College of Eastern Utah and 4 years with SESC. I received my Bachelors degree in Graphic Design and my Masters degree in Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences from Utah State University.
