The use of Digital Signage has grown exponentially in school campuses across the globe. In comparison to traditional signs & banners, Digital Signage is increasingly viewed as a more cost-effective means of communicating & engaging with students, parents and faculty. This session is intended to demonstrate the various applications and benefits of Digital Signage in an educational setting. Additionally, we will demonstrate the advantages of having control and immediate access to your digital content. This session will explain why you do not need to be a graphic designer or creative genius; but rather simply need to understand the best practices of digital content creation. Engaging Students in a Google Apps Classroom

Teaching online or in a blended learning environment can be an overwhelming organizational challenge. We will demonstrate how we used Google Apps in an online Secondary Math II class to engage our students in a paperless environment and to create a classroom folder structure that managed assignments, assessments, and other collaborative interactions.
We will also discuss many of the lessons we learned (including mistakes to avoid) during the planning, set-up, and engagement phases.
