Educators taking the Lead - Evaluation

With the passage of SB 64, there will be new accountability standards and evaluation procedures for principals and teachers. The Utah Education Association has developed a short professional development course and toolkit to help educators with evaluations. This session will address teaching standards, evaluation, and demonstrate a way to document evidence that ties to the standards.

UEN's NROC Resources for Teachers
The USOE has purchased rights to NROC for all Utah teachers. This session introduces what NROC resources are available to Utah teachers and students, the playlist and other functions of HippoCampus and explores possibilities for using NROC content in your classroom. As a Utah teacher you have access to over 4,000 learning objects from screened collections at HippoCampus site, an advertisement-free site. Instructional materials will be mapped to the Utah State Standards for Mathematics. Another benefit is the ability to import modules and courses into Canvas.
